However, you need a ticket to enter the Studio Bell/National Music Centre for the Mexican music concerts and the Art Show. Are you a visual artist with artwork related to Día de Muertos? This free family-friendly event will begin at the Devonian Gardens, continue to Stephen Avenue, the Central Library, and to Studio Bell Performance Hall, where the musical show will start. We will have four singing performances featuring traditional and contemporary Mexican music.
During the parade, we will have 2 stops with storytellers from the Mictlán Art & Research Collective.
We need to follow Covid-19 protocols. Everyone needs to do a Covid-19 Self-Assessment prior to the event and wear masks in indoor locations. Studio Bell requires proof of vaccination or a recent Covid-19 test with negative result.
All visitors are highly encouraged to wear sugar skull makeup.
Prizes will be awarded to participants with the best Day of the Dead makeup and outfits.
Free photography sessions will be available for everyone.
